| Vacancy Announcement
The Trade Enhancement Programme (TEP) is a project funded by the European Unions, implemented through the Syrian Enterprise and Business Centre (SEBC) and managed by Cardno Emerging Markets, Belgium. The TEP is currently looking to fill the three following positions starting on 15th July 2010 and ending on 31st December 2012, with a 3 months probation period:
Position 1: Admin and Financial Assistant
Main Duties: Assist in the preparation and filing of expense forms and invoices; Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the project's inventory; Correspondence management; Translations English-Arabic; Provide additional secretarial and logistical support when needed.
Position Requirements: Excellent administrative skills, ability to monitor complex financial data and produce reports, strong knowledge of Word and Excel, fluent in English and Arabic, strong organisational skills, minimum 3 years experience in providing admin and financial support in an international work environment.
Position 2: STE Assistant
Main Duties: In charge of the recruitment of Arabic-speaking Short-Term Experts (STE) for the project, including all related admin tasks (managing the CV database, writing and posting ads, reviewing CVs, organising mobilisation, assist STEs when required); tracking and monitoring STE man-days inputs and liaising with Admin, Financial and Procurement Expert to produce monthly reports.
Position Requirements: Excellent communication and inter-personal skills; strong knowledge of Word and Excel; proven administrative and reporting skills; fluent in English and Arabic; minimum 3 years experience in an international work environment and minimum 1 year experience fulfilling a recruitment function.
Position 3: Driver
Main Duties: Provide transportation to the Long Term Experts, project support staff etc. and ensure that the vehicle is kept in proper condition.
Position Requirements: Valid driving license, military services completed, basic English speaking, minimum 3 years experience as a driver and preferred previous experience with an international organisation.
